Established in 2012 and headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, Wisdomgale promotes open scientific communication by providing researchers, authors, and readers with accessible platforms for sharing and discovering academic knowledge across diverse disciplines.

Who We Are

Wisdomgale publishes peer-reviewed open access journals supported by an international network of editors, reviewers, and researchers. Together they contribute their expertise to maintaining academic quality and responsible publishing practices.

Open Access Publishing

All journals published by Wisdomgale follow a Gold Open Access model. Research articles, reviews, and other published content are made freely available to readers immediately upon publication.

Articles are distributed under Creative Commons licenses, primarily the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing users to read, share, adapt, and reuse the material with appropriate attribution.

To sustain open access publishing, publication costs may be covered through Article Processing Charges (APCs). These charges are typically paid by authors, their institutions, or research funding organizations. Some journals operate on a fee-free (diamond open access) basis.

Global Visibility and Discoverability

Wisdomgale is committed to maximizing the visibility and accessibility of published research. We support appropriate indexing, rich metadata distribution, persistent identifiers (including DOIs), and integration with major digital discovery services.

We continuously work to enhance the discoverability of our journals and articles through relevant academic databases, repositories, and scholarly communication platforms.

Commitment to Research Integrity

Wisdomgale upholds high standards of publication ethics, transparency, and research integrity throughout the entire publishing process. Our journals follow established ethical principles and internationally recognized publishing standards to ensure that manuscripts are evaluated fairly and responsibly.

Issues such as plagiarism, data manipulation, inappropriate authorship practices, or other forms of research misconduct are taken seriously and handled in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

To support originality checking, Wisdomgale uses professional similarity detection tools, including iThenticate, where appropriate.
