Systematic Review on phytochemical and Pharmacological Aspects of Diospyros Melanoxylon Roxb

Abstract
Phytoconstituents in Diospyros Melanoxylon Roxb is what gives it its therapeutic efficacy. Diospyros Melanoxylon Roxb has been used extensively for its medicinal qualities all over the world. Plant leaves may be bundled to create "beedi," a tobacco-filled product that has surpassed regular cigarettes in sales in India. Additional plant materials have been used for pharmacological testing, including the treatment of cancer. The use of organic solvents for the extraction of Diospyros Melanoxylon Roxb material and a different technique with a different solvent system for the clarification of pure chemicals is two important limitations. If the pentacyclic triterpenoid ursolic acid from D. melanoxylon and its molecular mechanisms are understood, there are several possibilities for the creation of better medicines for a range of diseases. The purpose of this work is to provide a thorough analysis of the chemical components, pharmacological activity, and traditional medicinal use of thyme D. melanoxylon. Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic, anti-diabetic, antibacterial, anthelmintic, antihypertensive, cosmeceutical, and enzyme-inhibitory qualities are some of these biological actions.
